OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
548 Foundation offers a 13-week, 450-hour program that provides hands-on training in solar energy and related trades.
Students receive industry-recognized certifications, practical skills, and wrap-around support services, including stipends of $13 per hour while they learn.
Our program prepares individuals for careers in the sustainable energy workforce, with job placement and retention support after graduation.
Through education, mentorship, and community-building, we empower students to transform their lives and create lasting change in their communities.
OUR 3 TRAINING PATHWAYS
Solar PV Training
Our Solar PV Training pathway equips students with the skills needed to design, install, and maintain solar power systems.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in solar energy technologies, preparing them for careers in the growing renewable energy sector.
Climate Works Pre-Apprenticeship
The Climate Works Pre-Apprenticeship pathway prepares individuals for entry-level jobs in the construction and energy industries.
Students will develop a broad set of skills in energy effciency, weatherization, and sustainable building practices, positioning them for success in a variety of green jobs.
Energy Auditor Training
The Energy Auditor Training pathway teaches students how to assess and improve energy effciency in buildings.
Participants will learn how to conduct energy audits, identify ineffciencies, and recommend solutions, making them vital contributors to the clean energy economy.

At 548 Foundation, we understand that success in the classroom is just one part of the equation. Our dedicated case managers provide essential support to help students thrive both during the program and beyond. Here’s how we assist:
Housing Assistance
For students facing housing instability, we offer guidance and resources to secure stable living arrangements.
Financial Assistance
We provide support with budgeting, managing fnances, and securing emergency fnancial aid when needed.
Life Skills Coaching
Our case managers provide life skills training in anger management, conflict resolution, and time management to prepare students for personal and professional challenges.
Job Readiness
Case managers help with job search strategies, interview preparation, and resume building to ensure students are fully prepared for the workforce.
Emotional and Mental Health Support
We offer resources for emotional and mental health support to help students manage stress and maintain well-being throughout the program.
Ongoing Retention Support
Even after graduation, our case managers continue to provide support to ensure students succeed in their careers and maintain long-term stability.
